Long-Range Order in the Hubbard Model
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper begins by analyzing the Fermi-Hubbard Hamiltonian, a hopping model for Fermions on a lattice, and the pathology of the model’s extreme cases is discussed. Finally, the usefulness of experiments with ultracold atoms for studying order in these systems is presented. William R. McGehee Long-Range Order in the Hubbard Model 2

Yang's η pairing operator is generalized to explore off-diagonal long-range order in the Hubbard bilayer with an arbitrary chemical potential. With this operator and a constraint condition on annihilation and creation operators, we construct explicitly eigenstates which possess simultaneously three kinds of off-diagonal long-range order, i.e., the intralayer one and the interlayer one for on-si...

We review various ways to express the partition function of the single-band Hubard model as a path integral. The emphasis is made on the derivation of the action in the integrand of the path integral and the results obtained from this approach are discussed only briefly. Since the single-band Hubbard model is a pure fermionic model on the lattice and its Hamiltonian is a polynomial in creat...

The self-energy-functional approach is a powerful many-body tool to investigate different broken symmetry phases of strongly correlated electron systems. We use the variational cluster perturbation theory (also called the variational cluster approximation) to investigate the interplay between the antiferromagnetism and d-wave superconductivity of κ-(ET)2 X conductors. These compounds are desc...
